Students will be billeted at the NAVSCIATTS Bachelor’s Housing adjacent to the school
training facility. The barracks are equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, TV/VCR/DVD
plus movies and video games available for check-out, air conditioning, safe deposit
boxes, satellite TV, Internet lounge with high speed Internet plus wireless access
in the building, laundry facilities, etc. A berthing fee of $15 per night is charged
to each student. Breakfast ($3.00) and lunch ($4.50) are available at the galley
located in the main building from Monday to Friday. The galley is closed for dinner,
official holidays and weekends. A shoppette is available within walking distance
from the schoolhouse where students can purchase food and snacks.

In addition to the main building, NAVSCIATTS has a physical training facility with
weights and aerobic machines, a soccer field, a volleyball court, a basketball court,
a horseshoe pit, high-speed Internet lounge, satellite TV, a DVD library with more
than 150 movies, Play Stations, vending machines, bicycles, and a grill/gazebo area
with a pool table ideal for barbecues, sporting and social events.

Students will not be granted leave while attending courses at NAVSCIATTS unless
specifically authorized in their ITOs. Liberty is ranted after normal working hours,
on weekends and holidays. Under no circumstances, will students be authorized to
travel outside the continental United States while assigned at NAVSCIATTS. Scheduled
liberty buses will transport students regularly to local shopping malls, restaurants
and other points of interest.
